Project Goal

Deliver captivating and dynamic 3D visuals showcasing realistic renders in an immersive environment. This project leverages Unreal Engine’s capabilities to create striking imagery, with every detail meticulously crafted to capture attention and offer a premium visual experience.

Techniques Used in Unreal Engine

  • HDRI: High Dynamic Range lighting for realistic environments and precise reflections.
  • Post Process Volume: Custom ambiance tuning through lighting, contrast, and saturation adjustments.
  • Directional Lighting: Carefully oriented lighting to enhance the shapes and textures of the models.
  • Movie Render Queue: High-quality rendering with anti-aliasing and cinematic blur effects for exceptional image clarity.
  • Dynamic Cameras: Fluid and artistic camera movements to highlight details and reinforce visual impact.

Production Process

  1. Data Preparation (Modeling, UV Mapping, Material Assignment)
    • Completed in Blender, ensuring a solid foundation for Unreal Engine integration.
  2. Livery and Imperfections
    • Textures and imperfections created in Substance Painter.
  3. Shading and Materials
    • Custom automotive materials developed in Unreal Engine to capture surface brilliance, texture, and depth.
  4. Cinematic Assembly
    • Key Tool: Cinematic Car Rig by MadGoat Studio.
    • Placing Carrefully the HDRI and Matching HDRI lighting with Directional Light to ensure perfect lighting.
  5. Post-Production
    • Color Grading: Finalized in Davinci Resolve and Photoshop, enhancing colors, contrasts, and creating a unique atmosphere.
