Project: Haas F1 Team Visualization For this project, I had the opportunity to work on creating visuals for the Haas F1 team. My role involved several key tasks to ensure the final renders were both accurate and visually stunning.
Model Verification and Adjustment: I started by carefully verifying and adjusting the 3D model of the F1 car to ensure it was accurate and ready for texturing and rendering.
Texture and Material Creation: Using Unreal Engine, I created all the necessary textures and materials for the car. This included detailed work on various components to make sure they looked realistic and high-quality. I developed a custom carbon material with many custom parameters for roughness and clearcoat reflections. I also created custom textures for the tires using Substance, adding an extra layer of realism.
Scene Creation: I designed the entire scene using Blender, setting up the environment and ensuring all elements were correctly placed and scaled.
Lighting and Export Pipeline: I handled the lighting setup to enhance the visual appeal of the scene and established a pipeline for exporting the final renders from Unreal Engine.
Post-Production: The final touches were added during post-production using DaVinci Resolve, where I fine-tuned the colors, contrast, and other visual elements to achieve the desired look.
Expertise and Support: Throughout the project, I provided support to the animation team (working on different project but using my assets), helping them troubleshoot issues related to lighting, camera, envirronment and rendering.
